George and Julia met through mutual friends while attending the College of Charleston years ago, but it took a couple years before they finally realized just “how awesome each other are”! As much as George wouldn’t agree, Julia swears she made the first move and asked George to get coffee at their favorite spot, and the rest is basically history! 18 months later, George was proposing with Julia’s grandmother’s ring, which…. get ready for it…. was hand crafted by her grandfather! They tied the knot in a beautifully sentimental and Christ-filled wedding ceremony under the oak tree at Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant. And even the 100% chance of rain in the forecast held off for almost their entire day~ I like to think it was just for them!
Enjoy a little sneak peak into their super fun wedding day!
Julia’s gifts to her bridesmaids were from the Naptime Diaries Shop, one of our favorite local print shops!
We love seeing new families being created on wedding days!
Julia’s grandfather hand made her engagement ring, which was given to her grandmother and worn by her for generations! We love it!
Congratulations you two! May your marriage be filled with laughter, friendship, love, and lots and lots of beautiful babies!
xoxo!
